Red Carpet Creativity!
Randy Persaud

What do rockers Billy Talent, author Eric Walters, and dancer Amanda Cleghorn have in common? All three of these talented individuals have won a MARTY!

The MARTYS are the Mississauga Arts Awards and are given out at an annual event hosted by the Mississauga Arts Council. The awards celebrate and showcase the top talent Mississauga has to offer the world, and are handed out to performing, visual, media, and literary artists, along with awards for significant contributions to the field.

This year’s event features a red carpet cocktail hour with busker-style performances, dinner with the winners and nominees, and an unforgettable show! It promises to be a night attendees won’t soon forget.

The ceremony will be held on May 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Living Arts Centre, and this year’s host is CBC journalist and Rogers personality Randy Persaud.
